How Indonesian addresses are structured
Indonesian addresses commonly move from a local street line into district, city or regency, province, and postal code details. In real systems, optional neighborhood and RT/RW-style local references may also appear.
- Street lines often use prefixes such as Jl. for Jalan, meaning street.
- City or regency fields should not be treated as the same thing as province.
- Province names such as DKI Jakarta, Jawa Barat, Jawa Timur, and Bali are useful validation anchors.
